Love at Home

I have some dear friends who are moving across country for a job transfer. They have moved a lot throughout their marriage and this move brings them back closer to family. I wanted to make a card to send them my well wishes on their move. This stamp set is called Heart and Home and is the first Ronald McDonald set Stampin' Up! offered. It has since retired but I hung onto it because I love the set. The card stock used is Old Olive, So Saffron, Whisper White and Designer Paper. I used markers to do a quick coloring job. I thought that type of coloring looks good with the stamp set style. The ribbon is moss and chocolate. And look! I even stamped an envelope! I'm so trying not to be such a lazy stamper.

Enjoy your day! Matt has gone back to school today. He is a little worried about all the questions and attention he is going to get about this poor little face. I think he'll be fine though. And thank you for all the wishes for his quick recovery.

Loved reading your blog... You have some stunning cards and I love the embroidered flower on the jeans that inspired you to make a card in those colours

This card is great! The colors are so warm and they just look awesome together! I think this qualifies for the "non-lazy" stamper award. ;o))
