Stampin' with Mom

As I mentioned in my last post, I got to stamp with my mom on Saturday. I made this card for my BIL's birthday. Card stock and ink used are Garden Green, Not Quite Navy and More Mustard. The stamp sets are Crosshatch, Word Search and Wild About You. It was pretty quick and easy-and not girly!

Mom and I each made a sympathy card using the set, Close as a Memory, along with the Fine Lace background stamp. Paper used is Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Confetti White, and Chocolate Chip.

Here is a pic of each of our cards. Mom used water color crayons for the flowers and I used markers. The ribbon is chocolate grosgrain and sentiment is stamped in Chocolate Chip.

The pic of Mom's water colored flowers (on the left) doesn't do them justice. They are soft and beautiful. We also used the coluzzle to cut our ovals and the slot punch to put the ribbon through.

Yesterday I got all the cutting done for Meagan's birthday invitations. I will be assembling them today and will post a pic tomorrow.

Have a great day.
